Growing Through The Seasons Calendar By Isla Middleton

This 2023 calendar is a celebration of seasonal vegetables, fruit and flowers illustrated with full page original hand carved linocut prints.

Be inspired to learn and grow an abundance in your garden and work with the nature around you. A growing chart will also be included at the back of the calendar. This calendar was created to inspire, encourage and teach you to sow, grow and harvest fresh produce straight from the garden. It also promotes the importance of seasonal, and locally grown organic food and the positive benefits of connecting with nature.

The Growing Through The Seasons Calendar is the perfect gift for gardeners, allotment growers, vegetable lovers and anyone keen to get started, just needing a bit of guidance throughout the year. Also this will appeal to anyone with a passion for botanical illustration, artisan craft and traditional printmaking techniques.

Isla Middleton created this calendar with the wonderful grower Bryony Middleton, Head Gardener at Sharpham Trust in Devon, who manages their 19th Century Walled Vegetable Garden organically and the ornamental grounds.

Each month includes:

• A full page illustration of seasonal fruit, flowers or vegetables. All the prints are from original designs, hand drawn, then intricately carved into lino blocks. 

• Tips and knowledge for the month, including what to sow and harvest.

• A Growing Chart will feature at the back, with an overview of the sowing and harvest schedule.

• Dates for the phases of the moon, bank holidays and seasonal festivals.

Product Information

Printing Details: The calendar will have an organic look and feel, with a rich colour palette. The calendars are printed using eco inks on 100% recycled on a textured light grey rustic paper from waste fibre.

Size: Folded size - 30cm x 30cm, Hanging size - 30cm x 60cm, stapled on the fold, and hole at the top for hanging.
